
Zip 25 is a modern, user friendly, high performance boat,
designed to race either in fleet under IMS, CHS and IRM rules or in monotype
category; it has a competitive price showing particularly low management costs.
Hull design is characterized by a remarkable length of waterline, round sections
and medium displacement; moderate prow sections exalt performances and manoeuvrability
characteristics, even with strong wind; Moreover, the rudder feedback is very
light under every condition. The simple and rational deck allows the crew to
move fast and set sails under every condition. The boat was conceived for races,
sailing schools, clubs and "match race" regattas. However, interiors can offer
such requirements to allow also short cruises: by request, in fact, they can
be harnessed with four berths, WC, wash bowl and kitchenette.
Rolling is obtained with female dies; construction of hull and deck is crafted
by sandwich of E-fiberglass and isophtalic resin with a core of PVC. The sandwich
stops just on the keel, near the bulb. Inner structure is laminated directly
on the hull. Inside the boat, in the middle part, one can find two berths with
